Bunting Fundamentas
Bunting is one of the most overlooked and least practiced of all the fundamental skills of hitting. I believe it is one of the most important skills to learn. I also believe that good hitters ought to be great bunters! Why? Because when good hitters are asked to bunt, it usually means that the game is on the line.
When the time comes for the bunt, to sacrifice a runner over, or squeeze him home, or beat out a bunt to start a rally, those who neglect to practice it, will fail miserably, disgracing themselves and often contributing to a team's defeat.
