Peyton Carney hit his first home run of the summer travel ball season for 615 Sport Training Academy's 13U travel team. The big right-hander belted one over the right field fence with a great show of opposite field power. Congratulations Peyton!

Congratulations to Friendship Christian Academy's Annalise Jarnagin, this week she was voted to the All-District team.
Congratulations to Friendship Christian Academy's softball team for their state runner-up finish this season. They were literally 60 feet away from a second state championship in as many seasons.

Connor Hackett hit his first career home run in the first travel ball tournament of the season for the Tennessee Blast! Congratulations Conner. Eli Carson, Conner's teammate on the Tennessee Blast, hit two home runs in the tournament.
Jordan Lowhorn blasted two home runs today against the Tennessee Blast, and later, blasted his 3rd homer of the tournament over the centerfield fence! Connor, Eli, and Jordan hit their home runs while playing against each other. So three of my students hit a total of five home runs in the same game, wow!!!

April 24th
Jalen Mitchell had a great weekend, his team (Tn. Thunder) won the 9U championship with a ring to go with it! Jalen helped his team win the championship by blasting two home runs over the left field fence. Congratulations Jalen!!! April 19th
Jada Moss had another great performance tonight. She went 3 for 3 with a single, a double, and a home run...one triple from hitting the cycle! I'd like to think that she would have done it with another at-bat. April 14th

8th grader, JD Usrey, who plays for Winfree Bryant middle school, hit the first homerun of his career! He hit a blast over the left field fence measuring about 360 feet. Congratulations JD!!!

Joshua Tipton was on fire in this weekend's tournament. He went 10 for 10 with 2 HR's (back-to-back)! These are his 3rd and 4th homers of the season.

Game Changer's stats came out today for Friendship Christian softball. It shows that Annalise Jarnigan has put up some impressive numbers through 21 games. She is batting in the 2-hole for the team with a .490 BA, .554 OBP, .673 slugging percentage, and 1.227 OPS. She has 24 hits with 6 doubles, 1 homerun, and 13 RBI's. And, she has only 3 strike outs in 60 plate appearances.

WATERTOWN -- Tigerette hitters combined for 22 hits in Tuesday afternoon's 14-6 home win over District 8-A rival Goodpasture.
Watertown broke open a 2-2 game with three runs in the fifth, three in the sixth and five in the bottom of the sixth.
Jada Moss led the hit parade with four hits, while Bailey Griffin, Alicia House, Amber Wright, Lauren Webster and Aaron Cherry eash had three hits.
House went the distance for the decision, scattering eight hits, walking one and striking out four.

FCS crushes Lipscomb Acd.
NASHVILLE -- Defending Division II-A state champion Friendship Christian wasted little time in Monday's 15-0 win over Lipscomb Academy in a neutral site game at Trevecca Nazarene University.
The Lady Commanders (9-3-1) jumped out to a 14-0 lead after just two innings, sending line drives to all corners of the field.
All told, FCS pounded out 17 hits in just three at bats and took advantage of three Mustang errors.
Coach Jody Atwood took his foot off the gas early, moving his runners station to station once the outcome was no longer in doubt.
Annalise Jarnigan led the Lady Commanders with four hits while Hannah Alexander finished with three.
Pitchers Courtney Petty and Clarissa Martin held the outmanned Mustangs hitless. Petty struck out four and Martin three.
Friendship plays at East Robertson Wednesday at 4 p.m. and will host DCA Thursday at 5 p.m.

Hayden Flatt played in his 1st high school varsity game for Central Magnet. Hayden is a sophomore trying to work his way into the starting varsity lineup. He got 5 innings of work today behind the plate! Hayden has worked very hard this past offseason preparing himself for the chance to prove that he deserves to be in his team's starting lineup.

Tyler Warmath has been battling a wrist injury over the past couple of weeks. After 23 games Tyler is still batting .409, not bad while trying to overcome an injury.

Morgan Alford played in her second game of the season on Tuesday. She went 1 for 2 again with 1 RBI. Morgan is now 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's in her first 2 regular season games.

March 19th
9 year old Morgan Alford played in her 1st spring player pitch game at the Mt. Juliet League Park. She went 1 for 2 with an RBI single. The out she made came on a 1-2 pitch low and away. She hit a shot right over 1st base, but the first baseman was able to make a snow cone catch.

March 18th
Watertown high school played in a tournament in Cookeville, Tn. tonight and Jada Moss, their lead-off batter, hit her 1st home run of the season. It was also the 1st home run of her high school career! Congratulations Jada!!! March 17th
Lily Waddle hit her 1st home run of the season for Southside Middle School, a drive over the left field fence! This is Lily's 1st home run of her young career. Way to go Lily! Annalise Jarnagin hit her 1st home run of the season. Annalise is playing in her 3rd year at Friendship Christian high school in Lebanon. She has started every year including her freshman season. Last year, FCHS won the State Championship in their division. Annalise had a great season
last year as she blasted 4 home runs (the 1st of her career). She hopes to improve on that total this year after spending the entire off season getting stronger and faster training with coach "Fitz" at 615 Sports Training in Mt. Juliet, while continuing to improve her hitting skills training with me every week at the same facility.
March 15th
Lily Waddle is a 5th grader playing for Southside Middle School in Lebanon. Not only did she make the team as a 5th grader, she is a starter on the 7th and 8th grade varsity squad! Wow! In her 2nd game of the season, 1st at bat, she one-hopped the fence driving in 2 runs. In her next at bat, she one-hopped the fence again with the bases loaded, driving in all 3 runners. And by the way, she was hitting into a 10 - 15 mph wind! March 14th
Jada Moss is a freshman from Watertown high school. Watertown played their first official game of the season tonight getting a win against Westmoreland High School. Jada started for her team and was the lead-off batter. She had 5 plate appearances. She ended the night 4 for 4 with a walk. She had 3 line drives and 1 deep fly ball that hit the fence in the air.
